MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 26-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested Friday in connection to a robbery and an attempted robbery on the same day last month.

Coon Rapids Police say Keith Deane Kingsley was arrested at his home after they received a tip from the public.

Kingsley is accused of robbing the Darque Tan at 11191 Commerce Dr. N. in Champlin on Jan. 17. He also allegedly tried to rob the Angels Food Mart at 114449 Hanson Blvd. NW in Coon Rapids that same day.

He is being held at the Anoka County Jail, and criminal charges are expected to be filed soon.

The tipster is set to receive reward money from the Coon Rapids Crime Prevention Association for alerting authorities to Kingsley.
