
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Carlton County have released a sketch of the man who posed as a motorist in need of assistance on Interstate 35 and sexually assaulted a woman who pulled over to help him.
The woman described the man to police as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, with a short beard and short brown hair. He was wearing a black Carhartt hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black work boots.

The man drove his Ford F-150 to the shoulder of northbound I-35, near Esko, Minn., on Feb. 3.
The woman, a passing Good Samaritan, pulled over her vehicle sometime between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. and began helping the man with his truck.

The vehicle was described as an extended cab F-150, possibly the 2003 model, with a black matte finish and black matte low-profile tires.
The photos below are of a truck police believe may resemble the assailant’s vehicle.
