Man Arrested After Woodbury Hotel Incident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man is in custody after an incident in a Woodbury hotel overnight.
According to Woodbury Police, officers responded to a call around 9 p.m. Thursday of a man possibly holding a woman against her will in a room in the Country Inn and Suites off Interstate 94 and Century Avenue.
Upon arrival, police said the man would not answer the door to the hotel room.
The SWAT team was called in as a precaution.
One woman staying at the hotel told WCCO that she and her family had to move to a different room.
Police said the man came out of the room at around 2 a.m. Friday, roughly five hours after the incident began.
The woman who was in the room is OK.
