MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Three separate incidents of sexual misconduct occurred within two hours of each other, in the Prospect Park neighborhood just outside of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus Monday afternoon.

According to a crime alert from the University, the victims in all three instances were walking on the sidewalk when the suspect approached them from behind and groped them.

The first incident occurred at 12:50 p.m. near the intersection of Huron Boulevard and Fulton Street. The suspect ran westbound on Fulton Street, according to the report.

The second incident occurred at 1:45 p.m. near the intersection of Oak Street and Washington Avenue. The suspect ran southbound on Oak Street.

The third incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Ontario Street and Fulton Street, after which the suspect fled into the Oak Street Ramp, according to the crime alert. University Police searched the ramp and the surrounding area, but couldn’t find the suspect.

The victims and witnesses describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall with a medium build. The suspect was described as wearing a gray, wool pea-coat, blue jeans, and a red hoodie under the pea coat. One victim said the suspect as wearing sunglasses.
