Police: 14-Year-Old Runaway Found Safe During Search Warrant

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Jordan police say a 14-year-old juvenile runaway has been found safe during a search warrant Wednesday.

Police say Hannah Joe Maresch left her parents' house in Jordan shortly before midnight Feb. 14, 2015 without telling anyone. She does have a history of leaving home under similar circumstances. There was no indication that she left unwillingly.

Since leaving, Maresch did not attempt to contact her parents. There was concern because she has a history of chemical abuse and mental health issues.

Maresch was found during a St. Paul search warrant, according to Jordan Police Chief Brett Empey.
