MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday they’ve signed tight end Brandon Bostick off waivers. He was released by the Green Bay Packers earlier this week.
Bostick, a 6 foot, 3 inch 250-pound tight end, appeared in 24 regular season games the last two seasons. He has nine career catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns. He also has 13 career tackles on special teams.
He’s the fifth tight end on the roster. Bostick is most recently known for his part in the onside kick during the Packers loss to Seattle in the NFC title game. The Seahawks recovered the kick after Bostick failed to catch it.
