Leinenkugel’s Snowball Classic – Blaine
If the Minnesota Twins kicking off Spring Training got you in the mood to watch baseball, you’re in luck. The inaugural Leinenkugel’s Snowball Classic takes place Saturday at the BeBop Venue in Blaine. Sixteen teams comprised of more than 200 fans will compete in a snow softball tournament for the right to be crowned champions.
Fans in attendance will enjoy prizes, food and the first sips of Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. Fifth-generation brewer John Leinenkugel and former Minnesota Twins player Jacque Jones will also be joining the fun as guest managers for all teams. Games begin at 10 a.m.

This weekend, kids can explore the exciting career of engineering as Tech Fest 2015 takes place Saturday at The Works Museum in Bloomington. The annual celebration of National Engineers Week features live demonstrations and hands-on activities. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $8.
Art Shanty Projects Keep Your Shanties On! Benefit
Come support the arts while drinking good beer at the Art Shanty Projects Keep (Y)Our Shanties On! Benefit. For the past decade, thousands suited up and headed outdoors to celebrate art and community with Art Shanty Projects. Instead of transforming a frozen lake surface into an interactive, artist-created shanty town, Art Shanty Projects is transforming the Fulton Brewery in northeast Minneapolis into an imaginative environment celebrating its 10-year anniversary.
The event will be hosted from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Pre-sale tickets are $15 online and that includes one free drink.

Calling all who live and breathe motorcycles — the Motorcycle Life EXPO, sponsored by Dennis Kirk, is taking over Canterbury Park in Shakopee Saturday and Sunday. The event showcases vendors who cater to the motorcycle lifestyle such as destinations, aftermarket accessories, motorcycle touring, apparel and home décor. Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
