MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A large fire started Tuesday at the site of the former Potlatch Plant near Cook, Minnesota.
The abandoned facility is being salvaged by a local company, according to a press release from the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
Firefighters were called to fight the blaze shortly before 5 p.m.
The site was bought by Hill Bio-Mass a few years ago. The company turns wood waste into usable fuel.
The extent of the damage is unknown.
