WCCO This Morning Team Races Beds For Charity

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – For people looking to soak up those last few moments of winter, why not head to Buck Hill?

But this weekend, you'll have to forget the skis and snowboards because you'll be going down on a queen-sized mattress.

For 17 years, thousands have taken part in the Subway Bedrace for Bridging.

Bridging is an awesome nonprofit that connects people in need with furniture, including mattresses.

So each member of the WCCO This Morning team jumped on board a Sealy and Serta to give it a ride.

Already more than 100 teams are signed up. Last year's Subway Bedrace for Bridging raised $80,000!

You can still get together with a team of four and register at Buck Hill Saturday.
