Two In Custody In Connection To Homemade Explosive

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The two people detained Tuesday after a homemade explosive device was found behind a business in western Wisconsin have been taken into custody.

The Roberts Police Department said that charges are pending for the suspects, whose names have yet to be released.

The two were detained Tuesday after a homemade pipe bomb-like object was found behind the Frito-Lay building located at 203 Packer Drive in Roberts, Wisconsin.

Police say search warrants were served in connection to the incident, and there is currently no threat to the public.

The Roberts Police Department, as well as the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, are investigating the incident.
