WCCO Saturday Morning Links & Recap (March 14, 2015)

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's another jam-packed episode of WCCO Saturday Morning. It's the weekend before St. Patrick's Day, and Natalie Nyhus and Mike Augustyniak were getting into the spirit of things.

Saturday is LuckyPalooza on West 7th in St. Paul. Rachel Slavik went there before all the excitement begins in the afternoon.

There are also going to be tons of Irish Celebrations at the Landmark Center, including a Day of Irish Dance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and also the St. Patrick's Day Irish Celebration starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Admission each day is $6 for adults, $4 for children and seniors. Admission proceeds support Landmark Center's free arts and cultural community events.

Gastronomically speaking, you can welcome the top o' the mornin' with a heaping helping of corned beef and cabbage at Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter, which WCCO viewers voted as the state's best.

And Mike's Mix this week honors the holiday at The Liffy with two well-known Irish cocktails -- the Big Ginger and the Irish Coffee.

Meanwhile, the cast of a Broadway show turned the spotlight on bullying prevention Thursday night. The stars of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" took the stage at Hell's Kitchen Restaurant, performing a musical review to benefit the PACER Center. There was also a raffle, and Mike says he was honored to partner with everyone involved to help bring that to life. PACER Center, headquartered in Bloomington, helps kids with disabilities and those who are bullied nationwide.

Looking for a fast-paced sport that won't cost you an arm and a leg to go see? How about heading to a Minnesota Swarm game? Mike and Natalie wanted to get an idea of what it's like to play lacrosse at a professional level, so they hit the field with a few of the guys from the team.

In DeRusha Eats, Jason DeRusha poured himself a bowl full of Crapola. No really!

Oh, and by the way, we helped give away a truck at the Twin Cities Auto Show.
