Sheriff: St. Stephen Homeowner Punched, Tied Up In Home Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home robbery and assault Monday morning.
At 9:47 a.m. Monday, a St. Stephen resident reported a home robbery to the sheriff's office. He said that he answered the door to three male individuals. He was then punched in the face and tied up.
The victim said the male suspects then left with a safe and his vehicle, a white 1995 Chevrolet Lumina.
Deputies searched the area along with the Minnesota State Patrol and other local police agencies, but no suspects have been arrested.
The victim was treated for his injuries at the scene.
