Health Officials: 2 More Child Deaths In Minnesota Linked To Flu

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –Minnesota health officials confirmed Friday morning that two more Minnesota children have died from the flu.

The cases happened a few weeks ago, but were just confirmed as being flu-related.

That brings the total number of child deaths this year to eight, which is higher than normal.

The Minnesota Department of Health says it's not too late to get vaccinated.

The flu season can last through May.
