No One Hurt When Truck Hits Minnesota-Bound Plane In Denver

DENVER (AP) — No injuries have been reported after a de-icing truck hit a Delta Air Lines plane at Denver International Airport.

Airport spokesman Heath Montgomery says Delta Flight 1780 was getting ready to take off to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport when the truck struck the plane Wednesday morning.

The aircraft was on the tarmac getting de-iced at the time.

The plane went back to the gate to be checked by mechanics, and passengers were booked on other flights.

There was no information on the damage to the plane.

A call to the airline wasn't immediately returned.
