St. Paul Apartment Fire Sends 2 To Hospital

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Authorities say four people were hurt and two hospitalized in an apartment fire Tuesday afternoon in downtown St. Paul.

The St. Paul Fire Department received a report of a fire at an apartment complex in the 500 block of St. Peter Street. Fire officials said two people were taken to Regions hospital, possibly in critical condition.

Two others were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. Firefighters also rescued a cat from the burning building.

The cause fire is under investigation.
