'Face The Nation' Host Bob Schieffer Retiring

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Longtime CBS anchor and reporter Bob Schieffer says he's retiring.

Schieffer made the announcement at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas Wednesday night.

He graduated from TCU, then started his remarkable career in journalism.

He's been with CBS since 1969, served as chief Washington correspondent since 1982 and hosted "Face the Nation" since 1991.

Bob will host that show until his retirement this summer.
