Nicollet Mall Farmers Market Moving To Hennepin Avenue
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The downtown Minneapolis farmers market that has been on Nicollet Mall for nearly three decades is moving summer 2015.
Organizers said stands will be temporarily moved to Hennepin Avenue as reconstruction begins on the mall.
The market will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays as it has in the past. It opens in its new location on May 7.
The $50-million Nicollet Mall reconstruction project is expected to be completed in 2017.
