WCCO Radio Honored For Fight Against Hunger

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- WCCO Radio is being honored with the 2015 Service to Community award from the National Association of Broadcasters -- one of the more prestigious in the industry.

The award is given to WCCO Radio for the station's efforts to end hunger, from our two major radio-thons held every year to combat the epidemic to smaller efforts made by employees.

WCCO Radio program director Bob Shomper and market manager Mick Anselmo will be receiving the award later this summer at a gala in Washington, D.C.
