Anoka Co. Sheriff: Body Found Near Miss. River In Fridley
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A body was discovered near the Mississippi River in Fridley Thursday afternoon.
The Anoka County Sheriff's office says a person fishing near Manomin Park spotted the body at about 2 p.m.
Investigators used air boats to search the river for the body.
Officers at the scene say the deceased is an adult white male, who may be a Coon Rapids man reported missing in January.
The Anoka County Medical Examiner will make a positive identification.
