Senate Democrats Sign Lease For Downtown St. Paul Office

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota state senators have found some new digs in downtown St. Paul.

Senate Democrats and staffers will move into a temporary office space in the UBS Tower in late May as construction consumes the Capitol. They'll stay there until a new senate office building opens early next year.

The state signed a lease on Monday to pay about $300,000 for the office space from late May through January.

Republicans will stay in their offices in a building west of the Capitol until the new building opens.
