MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Here is a look at the four things you need to know about for May Day — May 1, 2015.

Hockey Fever Ahead

The Minnesota Wild are waking up in Chicago Friday ahead of a big game. The series against the Blackhawks is set to begin. This is round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs; the Minnesota Wild beat the St. Louis Blues in the first round. All eyes are on goalie Devan Dubnyk to see if he can maintain his pace and performance. Friday’s game starts at 8:30. They play Sunday in Chicago before returning to St. Paul for games 3 and 4 at Xcel Energy Center.

Cell Charge Refund

AT&T users, take note. Now’s the time to get a refund for charges crammed onto your cellphone bill. Friday is the last day to apply for a refund. The unwanted charges came through a practice known as “cramming,” when apps offer ringtones, horoscopes, celebrity gossip and other subscriptions charged fees. The FCC says that’s illegal.

A Damp Eruption

An underwater volcano off the coast of Oregon is erupting. The Axial Seamount is about 300 miles off the Northwest Coast. Since last Friday, the region has experienced thousands of tiny earthquakes, a sign that magma is moving toward the surface. Scientists have been able to follow the developments with a new underwater observatory.

Marvel Owns You

The next chapter of the Marvel superhero franchise The Avengers is heading to a theater near you. Avengers: Age of Ultron features Iron Man, The Hulk and other Marvel favorites, and also features a villain that is artificial intelligence-gone-wild. Fans will learn more about the character’s back stories, as well as what might become of the Avengers, if they survive their battle with Ultron. (Spoiler Alert: They almost certainly will.)
