MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The State Patrol says a motorcyclist died Sunday morning in southern Minnesota after colliding with a minivan.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Faribault County Road 17, near the intersection of Highway 109.

The State Patrol said a Dodge Caravan was crossing the county road into a driveway when a northbound Harley Davidson collided with it.

The motorcyclist was killed and has yet to be identified.

The driver of the minivan suffered no injuries.

At least 11 motorcyclists have died on Minnesota roads this year.
