MN Couple's 'Dear Future Baby' Has Arrived

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – After creating a viral hit based off of Meghan Trainor's "Dear Future Husband," it may be time for one Minneapolis couple to write another. Joey Famoso and Joe Morales' "Dear Future Baby" now has a name – Jackson Rudy.

Famoso and Morales announced the arrival of the baby boy into their family Monday morning.

"Our heads are in the clouds and our hearts are in the palm of our son Jackson's hands," the pair wrote on their Facebook page.

Jackson arrived in the couple's life after a year of them trying to adopt.

Famoso and Morales began the process in April 2014. By October they were matched with a birth mother. Then two days before Thanksgiving, they welcomed a baby girl into the world. But nine hours later, the birth mother changed her mind.

After finding support in each other and their families, the pair decided to continue the process to find their child.

But they felt they needed to take a different approach.

Thus, "Dear Future Baby" was born. And after a few months, Famoso and Morales were selected by Jackson's mother to be his parents.

Along the way, a foundation was born as well.

After going through the experience of having an adoption fall through, Famoso and Morales felt there needed to be more support out there for other couples who experienced it. They are currently in the process of creating the "Dear Future Baby" foundation that will offer financial and emotional support to families who are waiting to adopt or who may have experienced an unsuccessful adoption.

"Our adoption process has been equal parts exciting, scary, stressful, and amazing; but in the end it has been more than worth it," the pair said on their Facebook page.

And for Famoso and Morales they know it won't be hard to live out the promises listed in their song, because they've already met most important one.

You will never feel that you're not loved, cause you're gonna know we love you each and every night.
