Electricity, Heart-Pounding Views At Bakken & Foshay Museums

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- May is National Museum Month. And with school getting out of school soon, many parents will be looking for fun and educational things to do with the kids.

WCCO is highlighting two of the more unique museums in the Twin Cities. They are both electrifying, but in different ways.

The Bakken Museum -- on the west side of Lake Calhoun -- is open Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is $7, but students and seniors get in for $5. Members and kids under 4 are free. There will be special events going on all summer long for the museum's 40th anniversary.

The Foshay Museum is open 7 days a week, except some holidays -- including Memorial Day. Admission costs $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, and kids under 12 get in free.

One gives you a heart-pounding view over Minneapolis, while the other generated sparks between Natalie Nyhus and Mike Augustyniak! Check out their tours of both in the video above.
