Goliath Challenge Returns For 4th Year

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – What do you get when you combine family-friendly fun, healthy challenges and fundraising for a great cause? Well, the Goliath Challenge of course.

The Goliath Challenge returns for its fourth year on Saturday, May 30 in Hudson, Wis.

Families can compete in an obstacle race to help raise money for Feed My Starving Children.

Events include a 5k race and 2.5k race complete with obstacles such as a climbing wall. The 5k race is for parents and kids ages 12 and up, while the 2.5k race is for kids ages 7 to 13.

Last year, the challenge raised over $27,000 which is equal to 124,000 meals. This year, organizers hope to raise enough for 180,000 meals.

The race begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and registration is open until race day.
