Minnesota State Patrol Is Seeking New Troopers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota State Patrol is looking for new troopers.

According to the state patrol, the department is looking for troopers who are reflective of the communities that they serve and have non-traditional backgrounds.

The program would consist of training, and individuals interested in becoming a state patrol would need to obtain a Peace Officer's license in the state of Minnesota.

Captain Lori Hodapp and Lieutenant Tiffani Nielson stopped by WCCO This Morning to chat about how people can become state troopers.
