Impaired Driver Hits City Bus, Which Hits School In DT St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Metro Transit bus was struck by a car Saturday morning in downtown St. Paul, causing the bus to hit a school building.

Metro Transit officials say the accident happened at about 7 a.m. at the corner of West 7th and Robert streets. The crash caused the bus to hit Urban Academy Charter School.

The driver of the car was cited for driving while intoxicated. No one was injured.
