Massive Crowds Hit St. Paul For Grand Old Day
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The weather couldn't have been much better Sunday for the people who organize Grand Old Day in St. Paul.
The sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s drew the usual massive crowd to Grand Avenue in St. Paul on Sunday. It's the largest one-day festival in the Midwest, and it kicked off with more than 100 colorful floats in the parade.
Throughout the day people were able to enjoy live music, food and beer gardens.
The entertainment included live music on seven stages scattered along Grand Avenue. The 42nd annual Grand Old Day will be wrapped up early Sunday night.
