MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – This weekend is all about celebrating dads.

Celebrate Father’s Day weekend at the Stone Arch Bridge Festival. Take dad to Water Power Park to see a car show, art displays and performances by more than 250 musical artists.

The Stone Arch Bridge Festival is free to get in and runs all day Saturday and Sunday.

Ever dreamed of playing catch with your family on Target Field? Now is your chance!

The inaugural Catch on the Field is this Saturday after the Twins take on the Chicago Cubs. You can play catch, hangout in the Twins and visitors dugouts.

Tickets are $30 dollars for adults, $15 for kids.  All proceeds will benefit the Twins Community Fund.

For its second year, GermanFest is pulling out all the stops to provide fun for the whole family, especially for dad on Father’s Day.

Come to the Historic Schmidt Brewery Friday through Sunday to celebrate German culture, food, music and dance. There is even a 5k race. GermanFest is free to attend. The run cost $10.

Take dad to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on a trip to the past!

The 42nd Annual Back to the 50’s Car Show will feature over 10,000 street rods and custom cars along with commercial vendors, crafters and entertainment. Tickets for this event are $10 dollars or free for kids 12 and under.

Need more to do?

Head to the corner of Broadway Street and Central Avenue for the 3rd Annual Northeast Food & Brew Jam. Spend Sunday afternoon listening to live music, eating local Northeast establishment food and drinking beer from Northeast’s own microbreweries.  There will be face painting and balloon art for kids too! Tickets are $10. All proceeds benefit organizations serving Northeast Minneapolis youth.
