MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Here’s what you need to know for Sunday.

Number One: Sunday Services In Charleston

Sunday School and a service was scheduled to take place inside that Charleston church where nine people were shot to death Wednesday.

Other churches in the area plan to ring their bells at the same time in solidarity with Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Number Two: Search For Escaped Killers Continues

The search for two prison escapees in upstate New York has shifted south near the border with Pennsylvania.

A person spotted two men Saturday near a railroad line in the town of Friendship.

Number Three: Summer Starts

It arrives just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

So, get out there and enjoy the longest daylight of the year.

Number Four: Father’s Day

Minnesota had nine finalists up for “Father of the Year.” They were in a contest put on by the National Center for Fathering.

Their kids wrote essays about them.

The National Center for Fathering has been recognizing Minnesota dads through the essay contest for 20 years.
