Local Music Tap: 4 Shows To See This Weekend
From a free block party at Bryant Lake Bowl to a plethora of music acts at the Twin Cities' Pride, the Twin Cities is absolutely hopping with music this weekend. Here are the four local music shows & events to see this weekend.
Erik Koskinen Band & Friends @ Turf Club, St. Paul - Friday
Local country-blues artist Erik Koskinen is releasing his Live Album at the renovated Turf Club! Doors open at 8 p.m. New band shirts will be available too. Tickets here.
2015 Uptown Pride Block Party @ Bryant Lake Bowl Friday
There's nothin' less expensive than free. And, at BLB's annual block party, you certainly get a good bang for your nonexistent buck! The party features a stunningly large number of local acts, including MC Foxy Tann, L'Assassins, The Lioness, Dykes Do Drag, Mistress Ginger, Courtney McClean & The Dirty Curls, B.O.Y.F, Pam the Funktress, Epitome No Question, North Star Roller Girls and more. Wow. Such entertainment. Oh and there's a bunch of great beer available, of course.
