This week people have been paying attention to streaming services since the launch of Apple Music on Tuesday, June 30. And it appears like one of music’s biggest artists is opting out completely.

Prince has removed all of his music from all streaming services, except TIDAL. As of now, there is no official word on why Prince has removed his catalog from Apple Music, Spotify and Rdio, just a note on Prince’s Spotify page that says, “Prince’s publisher has asked all streaming services to remove his catalog. We have cooperated with the request, and hope to bring his music back as soon as possible.”
