MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office says two men died after they tried retrieving a piece of equipment that fell into a manure pit.
On Thursday at 5:17 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of two men falling into a manure pit (or tank) at a family farm in Woodmohr, Wisconsin, which is south of Bloomer, Wisconsin.READ MORE: Jaleel Stallings To Receive $1.5M Settlement From Minneapolis
When deputies arrived on scene, they learned the two men were trying to retrieve the equipment, but were overcome by the manure gas and became unresponsive.READ MORE: Papaya Petite
