Man Recovering After Getting Arm Stuck In Conveyor Belt

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Crews rescued a man from a factory in Minneapolis after he got his arm caught in a conveyor belt early Friday morning.

Police received a call around 1:30 a.m. from the Wholesale Produce Supply Company, located in the 700 block of Kassota Circle.

The man was part of a cleaning crew, and was working overnight when his arm somehow got stuck.

It took both police and fire crews to remove him from the equipment.

He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for surgery.
