Minneapolis Police Seek Help To Find Missing 16-Year-Old Girl

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis Police Department, in conjunction with authorities in Blaine, is asking for the public's help to find a 16-year-old girl who hasn't been seen for more than a week.

Police say Elena Alison Geiger ran away in Blaine on July 6 and her whereabouts are not known. Authorities say she is a Minneapolis resident and may still be in the Twin Cities metro. She is not taking prescribed medication for a health condition and may be a risk to herself.

Geiger is described as a white female about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top covered with a green cut-off shirt with shorts and flip flops.

Police say they believe she may be meeting adults to help her while she is on the run. Anyone with information about Geiger or who knows where she might be is asked to call Minneapolis Police at (612) 692-8477.
