ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout has been scratched from the series opener against Minnesota because of a sore left heel.
Trout, who won his second straight All-Star Game MVP award a week ago, said he felt an aching discomfort while walking after waking up Tuesday. Trout said he felt “a lot better” after getting some treatment at the ballpark.
