MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A suspect in two recent metro area bank robberies was arrested Thursday afternoon in Blaine.
The suspect has been linked to the June 26 robbery of a Columbia Heights U.S. Bank branch and the July 15 robbery of a TCF Bank inside the Fridley Cub Foods.READ MORE: Nicholas Briski-Smith, 25, Charged With Illegal Possession Of Firearm, Ammo

“Diligent detective work and teamwork resulted in a violent offender being apprehended, making our community a safer place,” Fridley Public Safety Director Don Abbott said in a statement.
