Police Seek Public's Help Locating Missing Vulnerable Adult

UPDATE: Police say Yang has been found. They're checking her for possible heat exhaustion, but they believe she'll be OK.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are looking to the public for help finding a missing 65-year-old woman with dementia.

Police say Lia Yang was last seen on the 1700 block of 3rd Avenue North sometime Sunday evening, and has a history of strokes and high blood pressure. Police also say Yang does not speak any English -- only Hmong.

She's described as an Asian female with short hair, standing at about 4 feet 10 inches and weighing about 120 pounds. Investigators believe she'll be wearing sunglasses and dark shoes.

Anyone who sees Yang is asked to call 911 immediately.
