State Fair's Amateur Talent Contest Underway At Fairgrounds

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Starting Monday night, some of Minnesota's most talented people will be taking the stage at the State Fair.

Audtions for this year's Amateur Talent Contest are underway at the fairgrounds in St. Paul.

The public is welcome to head to the fairgrounds to watch the performers, free of charge. Auditions will be held at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell which is on Cosgrove Street just north of the Space Tower.

The sessions start at 5:30 Monday night at will last around two to three hours. They'll be held daily until August 2.
