Can’t wait for St. Patty’s Day? Head to the country’s largest free Irish Fair held at St. Paul’s Harriet Island. This Friday through Sunday you can celebrate authentic Irish heritage. Take in a little step dance, eat some corned beef or sip on some Finnegan’s.

Twin Cities Polish Festival

Hoping to celebrate the polish heritage this weekend instead? You’re in luck! The 7th Annual Twin Cities Polish Festival returns to historic St. Anthony Main. Sing polish songs, dance the polka or enjoy a pierogi eating contest.  The three-day festival is also free.

Sauce Toss Tournament

Head to St. Louis Park for a fun event at the Shops at West End. On Saturday, PRIMP will be hosting a Sauce Toss Tournament, a game similar to bean bag toss, except it’s played with hockey sticks and pucks! Then enjoy an after party at The Loop.

Little Mekong Night

Need something to do at night? Check out the sights, sounds and flavors of The Little Mekong Night Market. Located along Western Avenue at University Ave in St. Paul, this market is inspired by the famous night markets held throughout Asia. The market stays open until midnight both Friday and Saturday.

Uptown Art Fair

Weather should hold out for the annual Uptown Art Fair. Paintings, ceramics, jewelry – you can find it all at this three-day festival in Calhoun Square. There will also be a beer garden and live music. Get there for free by taking Metro Transit.

Also this weekend, a fun, free event to do with the kids. Head to Target Field on Sunday. From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. you can celebrate 50 years of Children’s Theatre Company! A premiere screening of the Tony Award nominated “A Year with Frog and Toad” will be showing in high definition on the jumbotron.
