Dayton Heads To Mille Lacs For Bass Fishing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Walleye fishing may be over for the season on Lake Mille Lacs, but plenty of people will still be on the water Saturday to wet their lines.

That includes Governor Mark Dayton.

Dayton will be at the lake Saturday fishing for bass and other fish.

The DNR ended walleye season early because anglers met the quota. A restocking plan is in the works.

In the meantime, Dayton said there are plenty of other fish to catch.
