MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Target announced Friday it would be phasing out some gender-based signs in its stores.
Some sections of the store –such as the kids’ bedding and toy aisles — will soon be absent of reference to gender. Clothing will still be marked with binary gender designations.READ MORE: Man Hospitalized After Hit-And-Run In Brooklyn Park

Target said toy aisles will no longer use “pink, blue, yellow or green paper on the back walls” of shelves.
