Man, 60, Killed In Western MN ATV Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 60-year-old man died Sunday after an ATV crash in western Minnesota, according to the Stevens County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 8:17 p.m. after receiving a report of an unresponsive male involved in the accident in the town of Donnelly. The man, identified as David Whittemore of Donnelly, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

What led up to the crash is under investigation.

Several agencies responded to the accident, including Donnelly First Responders, Donnelly Fire Department, Stevens County Ambulance Service, Lifelink Air Ambulance, Morris Police Department and the Stevens County Sheriff's Office.
