Beckham Toddler Using Pacifier Raises Questions

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Soccer star David Beckham is fighting back after being criticized that his 4-year-old daughter still uses a pacifier.

A picture of Beckham and his daughter, Harper, was taken on Sunday. In it, she was seen using a pacifier.

The Daily Mail spoke to doctors who said at 4 years old, the little girl shouldn't be using a pacifier.

They also warned Harper could end up with speech or dental issues if she continued to use one.

Beckham posted a response online saying, "Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts?"

The American Academy of Pediatrics has warned against a child sucking on a pacifier, thumb or their fingers after 2 to 4 years of age.
