Twin Cities Participates In United Way Action Day

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The fifth annual Greater Twin Cities United Way Action Day will be held across the metro on August 13.

The lunchtime event will be held simultaneously in downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.

This year's theme is "Ready, Set, Learn – Fast Track to School Success. "

Thousands of volunteers will be assembling back-to-school kits for students from pre-K through college.
