WCCO’s Rachel Slavik brought viewers to the highly dog-friendly patio at Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room back in June.

They have a menu just for pooches — including “mutt” loaf — and they have a daily “Yappy Hour” … so calling it “highly dog-friendly” may not be strong enough.

If you haven’t brought your dog to this northeast Minneapolis favorite yet, Sunday would be a good day to start.

Stanley’s is hosting Pints for Pups, where $1 from every pint of beer sold will benefit the Brooklyn Center-based rescue organization No Dog Left Behind.

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, and will feature those enticing “Yappy Hour” deals!

Stanley’s will also hold Pints for Pups on Sept. 6 for One of a Kind Pet Rescue in Kenyon, and on Sept. 20 for Rescued Pets Are Wonderful in Blaine.

Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room is at 2500 University Ave. NE.

From pit bulls to pet rocks, 4 Your Pets covers it all. If you have a great animal companion story, pet-related event or video that deserves a spotlight, email sdswanson@wcco.com.
