1 Killed, 1 Hurt In Crash Involving Dump Truck
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 23-year-old man was killed after rear-ending a dump truck in Stearns County late Monday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened along Highway 23 near County Road 12 after 5:30 p.m.
Both the dump truck and the car were traveling east on Highway 23. The dump truck was stopped and getting ready to turn onto County Road 12 when the car crashed into it.
The driver of the car, Jared Haglund of Isle, Minnesota, was killed in the crash. His passenger, 21-year-old Logan Hebeisen, sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured in the crash.
