State officials will discuss possible changes to Minnesota’s medical marijuana program Wednesday.
They’re weighing the idea of adding people with chronic pain to the list of qualifying conditions. That could open the door for thousands of Minnesotans to gain legal access to the drug.
Right now, only people with one of nine medical issues can buy it.
A public meeting on the issue will be held Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Rochester.
Several other meetings will be held around the state in the coming months.
Amazon Launches ‘Prime Now’
If two-day shipping wasn’t fast enough, how about one hour?
Amazon has launched its new “Prime Now” delivery service in Washington State.
Prime users in Seattle and three other cities can now have items like beer, wine, ice cream and even TVs delivered within two hours! For an additional $8 you can have it at your doorstep in 60 minutes.
Fingers crossed this comes to Minnesota soon!
It’s National Dog Day!
Our four legged friends have new way to celebrate a special holiday.
Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 is National Dog Day, and, just in time, there’s a new web domain. Instead of ‘.com’ there’s now ‘.dog!’
Believe it or not, National Dog Day is only 11-years-old. It was started in 2004 as a way to bring attention to dogs in need of adoption.
CHS Field Airs ‘Field Of Dreams’
If you show it for free, they will come.
CHS Field in St. Paul will show “Field of Dreams” for free Wednesday evening.
The classic baseball film stars Kevin Costner as an Iowa farmer who gets a mystical message urging him to build a baseball diamond in the middle of his corn field.
Gates open at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at 7 p.m.
