WCCO Live At The Minnesota State Fair (2015): Day 8

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- It was a hot and steamy Thursday at the Minnesota State Fair, but the crowds were as busy as they've ever been during this year's Great Minnesota Get-Together.

And once again, WCCO Live at the Fair was jam-packed with fun segments. Rachel Slavik showed us two foods that debuted this year at the International Bazaar.

We got a look at some snakes and other fun reptiles with Monty's Reptile Show making its annual stop to the WCCO show. Frank and Chris also brought our summer series Goin' to the Lake to the State Fair with a good old fashioned trivia contest.

The guys from SotaPitcher stopped by to show us some of their fancy looking pitchers that we can pour our favorite craft beers in. The WCCO crew finished up their work in the Agrilympics, and let's just say their only medals were for participation.

We also brought back and oldie but a goodie in the "What are they Eating" contest with Amelia, Chris, Rachel and Angela Davis. The State Fair also handed out their top vendor awards for the year on Thursday.
