Update: Woman Missing From NE Stearns County Found
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 46-year-old woman who was missing from northeast Stearns County has been found, according to Stearns County officials.
The county sheriff's office said Rebecca Ann Schneider, of Royalton, left her daughter's residence on foot on Sunday in the northeast part of the county.
Officials were concerned as they said Schneider suffers from paranoia and depression.
Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday a deputy located Schneider along Benton County Road 78 near Rice, Minn. Schneider admitted she attempted to avoid being found by laying in a ditch when cars approached.
She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for evaluation.
